Emerald Skye 55

First, let me start with the pros. The condo is clean! The view is amazing! The proximity to restaurants and shopping is great! Decor of the condo is nice too! Condo is great size for a couple and MAYBE 2 small kids, but anymore than that would be tight.
I give this condo a 3.5 - 4.0 stars for a couple of reasons. The mattress is horrible. It truly needs replaced. My husband could feel the springs. The kitchen could use a couple more utensils, such as a strainer for cooked noodles and a cookie sheet. Had to do lots of improvising to make spaghetti. The kitchen cabinets could use replacing. Very low grade, shelves are warped. Drawers don't pull out well. Sliding glass door is hard to slide. Track needs cleaned and door adjusted for easier sliding. The air conditioning is great but the one in the bedroom is loud. And the elevator is EXTREMELY slow.
The person we dealt with, Julie, was a pleasure to deal with, at least through the text messages we received! I would say a little more details in the function of the door lock would be helpful. What the key on the orange key chain was for.. we figured it out on our own. And that there is no access to the #55 storage unit on the ground floor.

The outside of the building is a little worn. The building is in excellent location to shops and restaurants. The ocean view from the balcony is perfect. The ease and access to the beach is great. The unit was mostly updated EXCEPT the bathroom. The bathroom needs SERIOUS attention. Peeling paint on ceiling and walls. Stained tub. Black/molded faucet handle. Tub stopper is missing with separate stopper sitting there. Exhaust fan doesn’t work. Vent is extremely dusty/dirty. Light took several minutes to come on then would flicker off and on. Toilet seat is peeling paint. Flooring is loose and makes a popping sound when walked on. The bedroom is good with a comfy king bed. There is closet space with hangers and shelving unit with tubs/drawers for clothes. The kitchen is good and updated. However it is sparsely stocked with kitchen items. If you were cooking meals all week you would definitely need to check what items you should provide yourself. The balcony sliding door is ridiculously difficult to open and close. You definitely can’t do it one handed...like carrying a cup of coffee out with you.

Very nice place to stay right on the ocean. Walking distance to a few restaurants.Tucker was very responsive and made the check in and check out process easy.our family enjoyed our stay. We would rent again in the future.

ES55 was great. Signature Properties provided all the details by both email and text to easily check-in and out. The condo is in an older building (1995) that is well maintained, and the condo was in very good shape. There are new appliances, granite counter tops etc. Everything worked, no problems. The condo was clean and even the sliding glass door to the balcony had been recently washed to provide a wonderful view of the beach and Gulf. The balcony is deeper than most with a love seat, tall table and four chairs. Kitchen is stocked with all the basics and had plenty of cabinet space for our supplies. We would not hesitate to rent this place again.

We had a family emergency (death in family) causing us to arrive a day late. Signature Properties were willing to hold our reservation for us which we greatly appreciated.

Signature Properties did an awesome job of communicating.

Overall a very nice place to stay

Easy to check in. Everything was clean. Sitting in the balcony watching the waves. There were porpoise and Black sharks. Feeding under the peer. They didn't come close to the shore.

The property was nice and clean and there was even a welcome snack tray out for guests. Everything was provided so you just had to bring your clothes and pick up groceries at the nearby grocery store. There was also beach service for chair and umbrella rental. Just a few minor repairs were needed that did not impact our stay at all. The check-in/out process was smooth. Our ONLY complaint was there was no ceiling fan in the bedroom but we are from Texas where almost everyone has a ceiling fan in every major room. Definitely would stay here again.

The condo was clean and looked exactly as described. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. There was plenty of extra cabinet space for our groceries. The location was amazing! We prefer the smaller units and this was perfect. Nice and quiet. The condo was perfect for us. The beach was gorgeous. Julie was amazing to deal with! There was a basket of snacks waiting for us which we had never experienced in a condo stay before. The only complaint I have is that there was no dresser or chest of drawers in the bedroom, but we managed. We will definitely stay here again! We ate at Cosmo’s and they had the best mojito ever! And we always go to Lulu’s. And made a trip to the outlet mall. Other than that, we just enjoyed relaxing on the gorgeous beach!

My husband and I visited Orange Beach for the first time. Emerald Skye 55 was in a good spot, close to many stores,shops, and restaurants. Not very walkable to anywhere,a busy road makes this difficult to get across the road. The bonus was being right on the beach, it was beautiful! There is a pool in front of the building but it was very small and dirty at times. The rental was much older in person than the pictures but was clean and decorated cute. The king bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable!! We had a few issues during our stay, the patio door lock broke and the big curtain rod across the patio door came loose from the wall on one side. Not emergency issues but it took 2 days for them to get back to me. They did send someone to check things out and apologized for not getting back right away. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

This condo was very clean and perfectly situated close to shopping and grocery stores. Spacious and comfortable! Check in and out was a breeze! We will definitely be back!

Loved our stay. Our unit was clean and beautiful. Loved the accommodatios, location and ocean view. Julie was very nice and made us felt welcomed.
