Sand Dune - Cottages of Tannin

Loved the little home. It was clean and roomy and perfect. Short walk to the beach and in our own private area of the beach as well!

Gulf Shores is my hometown, so I am always glad to be able to come to the coast!

Everything about our house was great. The house was exactly as it was described. We discovered the icemaker did not work so we contacted the manager by text. She immediately responded and checked it. Soon someone delivered 2 big bags of ice to us. Everything about this house was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay. The house was clean and well stocked for our family of four. It was a really easy walk to the beach and away from some of the busier parts of Orange Beach. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Very clean and tidy brand new house. Walk to beach very short. You are 5 minutes to everything there is to do in Orange Beach.

This property was everything we could’ve asked for in our week long stay. The home itself was very well appointed and included all of the kitchen conveniences and linens that our party of 4 needed. The beach was an easy walk across the street. There is a cross walk just steps away from the front door that makes crossing the street a breeze! The property manager was super nice, answered all of my questions almost immediately and made the check in/out process one of the simplest I’ve experienced.

This home was perfect for our small family! The location was perfect and the pool was awesome!

Excellent stay for an affordable price! Clean beach house with wonderful, helpful property owners, location centered, right in the middle of just about anything and everything you would want to do at Orange Beach. The only small problem was lugging all of our beach gear across the street to the beach but was manageable. Overall, it was a great experience.

We really loved staying at this property as a family of 5. You can't beat the location to the beach, one block away! It was close to everything Gulf Shores/Orange Beach had to offer. We really appreciated all of the travel size soap, conditioner. The property was very nice and it was super clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Good family place great location.

This home was clean and well stocked. It was conveniently located to the beach, which was less crowded than most in that area. The pool is not in an optimal location and not very aesthetically pleasing. We did not spend any time there for that reason. It was awkwardly situated in the middle of the houses on the street. Besides that, we have no complaints.

The home was nice & clean. It was convenient to all the restaurants. The beach was across the street & the pool was in front of our home. If you are looking for a quick get away I would recommend.

We had a great stay at this property. The house was well stocked, clean, and beautifully decorated. The host Julie was very kind and helpful. The property is very close to the beach. We really enjoyed our vacation at this location. We hope to return in the future.

We rented this unit as we own in the neighborhood and had extra company coming. It was great! The check in and out prompts were easy to follow. Property is well kept and had all the amenities you need for a great family vacation. Great neighbors on both sides! Awesome walkiing distance to beach

The house was beautiful and clean. Exactly as pictured and a great location.

This home was exceptionally clean. Close to the beach. Walk across the road and your on the beach. There is a traffic light at the crosswalk. As soon as you press the cross walk button the light changes. Only thing is there needs to be a bigger garbage can in the kitchen, the wifi isn’t the best and we could never figure out how to watch the tv. So we just watched Netflix that already had an account open. Directions on how to get the cable box to work would be very helpful. We tried logging into Disney but it always said no wifi. Super nice place if you don’t mind not being ocean front. If you take a canopy you have to place them behind a marked spot which is very far from the water. That was a major issue with us due to having small children that wanted to be next to the water. Probably a orange beach rule. Umbrellas can be set up anywhere. Staff kept in contact through text which was great.

We had a great stay with our family of 4 in this rental. The house is pretty new and very clean. The beds were VERY comfortable. The house is sparsely furnished which I usually prefer - but they could add some side tables or a coffee table in the living space to make it perfect. It is a very short walk to the beach (3-5 minutes). It’s in a great location close to everything. We didn’t use the pool much because it was pretty full the week we were there.

You can't get much nicer than a brand new, super clean, modernly decorated beach house with very easy beach access! Whole house to ourselves! We were only the 2nd renters of this home, so hopefully it will stay nice. Sleeps 8 including pull-out couch in living room. Only takes a few minutes to walk directly across the street to the beach via a crosswalk, and the light changes within seconds of pushing the button to help you cross safely. Small neighborhood felt very safe. Houses are arranged in an oval periphery surrounding and facing the small neighborhood pool. Only issue we had was Internet not working at first, but management fixed it for us (despite me contacting them at night outside business hours which I shouldn't have). Bring your own shampoos, bath soaps, trash bags, and extra TP and paper towels. Beautiful white sandy beaches, not crowded even over Spring Break. Will definitely consider staying here again!
